SEATTLE — Seattle’s World Cup 2026 organizing committee, SeattleFWC26,unveiled the new Seattle FIFA World Cup 2026 logo Thursday afternoon and flew the flag at the top of the Space Needle.
The new logo was unveiled at a press conference. The Seattle FIFA World Cup flag will fly atop the Space Needle into the evening hours.
Past and present representatives from U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams were at the press conference. Some local and state elected officials were also at the event, including Gov. Jay Inslee, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell and King County Executive Dow Constantine.
FIFA announced last year that Seattle would be one of the 16 cities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico that would host the 2026 World Cup.
Seattle was chosen as one of the western cities along with Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Monterrey. In total, 11 cities in the U.S. will be joined by three Mexican and two Canadian cities for hosting duties.
